This message is based on a parable Jesus told about a king who gave his servants money to invest while he was away. When the king returned, he rewarded the faithful servants who used what they were given wisely. But one servant, out of fear, did nothing and was judged for his inaction. The parable reminds us that Jesus is our King who went to heaven but will one day return. Until then, we are to live for Him, using our gifts and time to serve Him and share His love. There are only two groups: those who serve Jesus as King and those who reject Him. We must choose to live for Him, doing His will, so that when He returns, He will say to us, “Well done, good servant.”

Exploring the foundation of Methodism through Scripture and the life of John Wesley
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works. – 2 Timothy 3:16,17
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple. The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes. – Psalm 19:7,8
John Wesley is the founder of the Methodist Church and he introduced the order of the Methodist Church.
John Wesley did not found the Methodist Church but whatever he lived became Methodism. People of his time found Wesley very relevant to them and therefore the Methodist Church emerged. Wesley strived to find the practical way of godly living in accordance to the Scriptures and found it. He gave expression to the theology and practice of all that the Scriptures taught. He experienced Christ and his Spirit just as he revealed to earth. Wesley finally summarized everything in the motto ‘Holy living, Gospel ministry.’ Through John Wesley, both rich and poor people alike found their purpose of life in Christ. Discipleship and outreach work broke out in exponential measure resulting in world-wide mission; this became the Second Reformation of the world.
There is an order and method to follow if we want to live as a real child of God and worship Him in Spirit and Truth. We can capture this order and method in John Wesley’s life and teaching. Methodism got its name after him and it was rather a nickname. The Methodist Church world-wide and its local body continue to follow Wesley’s motto for Christian living i.e., ‘Holy Living and Gospel ministry’.

– 1 Samuel 15:22And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much.
